Want to know what Slow Food Miami has been up to in the past few weeks? Here’s a quick update.
Whole Foods 5% Day
Thank you to all who shopped at Whole Foods last Wednesday. We’re excited to announce that Whole Foods will present Slow Food Miami with $2,940 to benefit our Edible Film Series.
Edible School Garden Plantings
We planted the first school garden of the season last week at Coconut Grove Elementary. The garden is the first of six that the school has planned. We were also very excited to planted the Heritage Garden at the Merrick House on October 16.
Edible School Garden Grants
The application period for edible garden grants is closed. If you missed the deadline, you will be able to apply again in February 2011.
