Give Miami Day

One of the nation's biggest 24-hour annual giving events, Give Miami Day is an online campaign where all locals are philanthropists. The Miami Foundation and its partners will maximize the community's generosity by making a bonus gift for every donation between $25 and $10,000 received on November 18 through givemiamiday.org.

Slow Food Miami’s Garden program aims to reconnect youth with their food by teaching them how to grow, cook and enjoy real food. Through increased confidence, knowledge gain and skill building, we want to empower children to become active participants in their food choice. By becoming informed eaters, today’s children will help make a positive impact on the larger world of food and farming well into the future. 

Working with Students and Teachers to grow their very own outdoor classrooms, incorporating the garden into curriculum from all disciplines, Math, Science, Art and beyond, is more critical, now than ever. Help us plant a fresher future for our children!
