At the workshop, we will delve into the exciting world of school gardens, exploring their educational benefits and how they can enhance the learning experience. We will be providing gift cards to schools in attendance that are being awarded a new School Garden Grant. These cards can be used to purchase plants, seeds, or any other supplies for your school's garden. Teachers will be able to select their plants for their gardens. All receipts must be saved and turned in to Slow Food Miami, as our nonprofit organization gets audited every year. We must account for all funds that we pledge to each school.
